Vista Nomads is a company that wants to create breathtaking immersive experiences for our clients in the form of their very own slice of nature. This immersion can last a night, a weekend, or weeks allowing you to realign yourself with nature and escape the constant dependence on screens.

Adventurers looking to book unique camping experiences. The website should offer these users the ability to both book directly with Vista Nomads as well as through their linked Airbnb account.
Users
Vista Nomads seeks to expands its operations in the future so their website needs to be scalable as their business needs and offerings scale up. Key stakeholders wanted simplicity in the website design without losing the essence of going on an adventure.

The target audience ranges in age and demographic as anyone that wants to book a rental for camping or a general vacation. The research conducted produced 3 user groups that were then used to inform the wire framing and development of the website.

Bio
Aisha & Iman are childhood friends that love exploring nature together. Aisha, a doctor, and Iman, an engineer, are both in their late 20’s and dream of visiting every national park in the country.
Goals
Rent short and long term rentals that don’t feel corporate, feel like a home away from home, and offer direct booking options to help small businesses.
Action Points
Create a simple intuitive website that feels immersed in nature.
Keep the website design minimal as to not flood user with newsletters, promos, product pitches etc.

Bio
Mustafa, 21, is a nature and wildlife photographer who is looking to stay among the great outdoors longer than his typical weekend expeditions.
Goals
Stay around national parks in short term rentals that feel connected to nature. He also wants to grow his brand alongside a small business that he can partner up with.

Website should exude outdoor and adventure feelings for users
Provide POV styled website experience
Develop pages for sponsor and partnering opportunities.

Emilia & John
Bio
Emilia, 25, and John, 30, are newly weds that moved to upstate New York and want to partner with a short term rental business as fractional investors.
Goals
The couple want simple communication methods on the website. They also want the ability to list shared properties on the website for short or long term rental.
Action Points
Create a local hosts listings page.
Create an internal facing system for budgeting and record keeping.
Show affiliate partnership opportunities on the website.

Two iterations of the wire framing was designed to show the client. The final version beyond the iterations was a mixture of both iterations.

The Vista Nomads team was advised to use a hybrid approach of the two design iterations that was developed in previous design phases. After further wire framing development, an interactive prototype was developed using Figma.
Prototyping & Product Testing
The final product is a simple website that creates a landing page for the Vista Nomads team. Their patrons can go here to find out more about the company and this website will continue to develop and grow as the Vista Nomads team scales their business.
